    By good old William Shakespeare:

    When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes

    When, in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
    I all alone beweep my outcast state
    And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries
    And look upon myself and curse my fate,
    Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
    Featured like him, like him with friends possess'd,
    Desiring this man's art and that man's scope,
    With what I most enjoy contented least;
    Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
    Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
    Like to the lark at break of day arising
    From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;
    For thy sweet love remember'd such wealth brings
    That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

    Sounds quite strange, I know, but I just love it.

    Does anyone know the funny sign with the car jumping into the water? Seen in Scotland (I've never been there, a friend told me). I can't find it right now...

    Auch wenn es hochgestochen klingt, finde ich es toll.

    Ich finde das nette Bild von dem schottischen Straßenschild nicht...kennt das jemand? Wo das Auto ins Wasser hüpft?
    Hi my dear your are in an English thread... means: it is important to actually write in English...

    I did´t read that much books of him, but in class we we were talking about him nearly a whole year... Our teacher gave us many poems and some extracts from the books in English and so on...

    I think I only read Romeo and Juliet... but I am not sure...

    Every teacher wants his class to read Romeo and Juliet. They all do. Our teacher was quite into it so we read a lot.

    Hier ist noch ein Witz bzw. Scherzfrage:

    Why does a scientist install a Door knocker instead of a Door bell?
    -Because he wants to win the No bell-Price.

    Funny! But it's an English thread, you know - so all you write should be in that language

    I'm here again with a comic. At first the four pictures for itself and then I have a link, where you can enjoy all of them in a whole.
